ABOUT

My name is Gabor Harsanyi, I have got more than ten years of professional development experience and have been working as Java enterprise architect and PHP web applications architect for five years. I led teams of three to eight people through entire life-cycle of application development. I am ambitious, self-motivated with entrepreneur attitude and with strong technical background, have a good eye for details and I am a quick learner who can absorb new ideas and can communicate clearly and effectively.

  • We were working on Lending and Risk management software, Collateral management system for banking companies using Java EE platform to deliver highly scalable solution with the best performance. I took part of the architectural designing process as a senior Java developer on the back-end side using message and web services.

  • One is an prototype Android application, called Coffea Chat, it uses WebRTC to make video chat connection between browsers and android devices.
  • The other one is a customization of osTicket ticket system.
  • The last one was a service provider with REST web services for a remote website frontend, implemented in Symfony 2. We only worked on the backend side to provide the services from the database.

  • I led a group of developers to serve intern needs of Hungarian national polices.
  • I was responsible for database design, development, designing software solutions for various problem types and application tuning. My roles were also building architecture design documents from business requirements, and overseeing the development, code quality, security of the application throughout the project life-cycle and maintaining Jenkins.
  • My main goal was to deliver an information retrieval system, identifying and analyse performance bottlenecks and rectifying them. The information was grabbed from the tons of official documents created by Hungarian police units, using Solr, Lucene, Luke.
